An official portrait honours a contribution and becomes part of an institution’s history, often hanging for generations. It captures far more than a likeness, preserving the leadership, service and character of someone who made a difference. It is a lasting way to recognise those who have shaped an organisation.

I have been fortunate to paint a number of prominent figures, including General Dame Sharon Nesmith, and I consider it a privilege to be entrusted with these commissions.

"It has been an absolute pleasure to have my portrait painted by Caroline de Peyrecave. Her talent and professionalism are clear to see from the artwork that is being displayed at Sandhurst this week. I hope to revisit the Nesmith room in Sandhurst regularly and continue to see Caroline’s work for years to come."
